About the speaker
Dr Maite Ferrin, Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, NHS Haringey CAMHS and ReCognition Health Clinic
Dr Maite Ferrin (MD, MSc, PhD) is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with extensive expertise in treating children and adolescents with all types of mild and more severe ADHD for more than 15 years. Dr Ferrin has been providing tailored medical treatments and non-pharmacological approaches including psychoeducation to these patients and their families. She is part of the Eunethydis (European Network Group for Hyperkinetic Disorders) and the EAGG (European ADHD Guidelines Group). She has published at least 40 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on ADHD and other neurodevelopmental conditions. She is also Vice-President of the IACAPAP (International Association of Child and Adolescent Pyschiatry and Allied Professions).
