A parenting course on non-violent resistanc e training for parents of children with ADHD in te ens who display physical and aggressive behaviour.

This course will cover:

  • How to de-escalate difficult situations 
    • \n
  • How to therapeut ically address and stop unwanted behaviours

  • How to improve and repair the relationship with your child and create a calm home

    Course presenter:  Jenny Wilkins on\, Dip.Couns\, NVR Parenting.  Jenny is a qualif ied counsellor\, trauma-informed family therapist\ , and accredited NVR Practitioner with lived exper ience of child-to-parent violence and ADHD. Jenny specialises in helping parents create calm in thei r family using Non-Violent Resistance (NVR).

    ·       Week 3 - Pa rental presence - the child-to-parent relationship

    ·       Week 4 - Building a loving pa rental connection and how to use your support netw ork

    ·       Week 5 - Review and Q&A

    This course is online.  Participants will be encouraged to join the course with their cameras on\, as it is quite interactiv e.

    £40 per perso n for residents in Richmond Borough. Other residen ts: £115 per person\, with a 50% reduced fee for a second person in a couple.
