\n \nPrior to pursuing and compl eting her doctorate in Educational\, Child\, and A dolescent Psychology\, she spent her career workin g directly on the front lines of education as both a teacher and a senior leader.
\n \nHer do ctoral thesis focused closely on school suspension s\, which remains a core area of interest for her. Her wider professional passions and expertise als o centre heavily on social justice and multicultur alism in education. Beyond her day-to-day practice \, she sits on the National Executive Committee (N EC) as a member of the Association of Educational Psychologists (AEP).
