Independent Provider of Special Education Advice (IPSEA)
Education, Health and Care Plan Masterclass – Existing Plans
When: Wednesday 10th June 2020, 10 AM to 3.30 PM online via Zoom

This online training day will help you navigate the system and support you to make informed and positive decisions regarding your child’s education.
Training will cover the following topics:
- What should an education, health and care plan look like?
- What information should it contain?
- What to do if you’re not happy with a plan
- Using the annual review
- Requesting re-assessment
- Appealing to the Special Educational Needs and Disability Tribunal

This one-day training is designed specifically for parents, carers and supporting family members as an introduction to the law on special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

- The process of obtaining an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan for your child
- Looks at what an EHC plan should contain
- Question and answer session
