Sensory processing experiences in children with ADHD

Dr Aloka Rudra, a Daphne Jackson fellow, working at Durham university.

About this Event

Research has shown that autistic people show sensory processing differences. Much less is known about sensory experiences in children with ADHD or with co-occurring conditions such as autism and ADHD. Understanding sensory experiences in these groups of children is the main research area of Dr Rudra and her team. This talk will explore knowledge gained about different sensory environments and experiences in neurodivergent groups and to understand the sensory differences in neurodivergent adolescents.
