This presentation will explore the role of fidget toys in supporting neurodivergent children. A research study that examined parental perspectives of fidget toys will be discussed. Findings showed perceived benefits of fidget toys in areas such as improving concentration and reducing anxiety. Implications will be discussed in relation to school policy and that sensory profiles of students should be considered.
