#ADHD Richmond’s Lead talks to #Headteachers ‘ forum
Val Ivens, the Lead for ADHD Richmond, spoke to about thirty headteachers at their Primary Schools forum.
She talked about the importance of the Equality Act and requirements to implement reasonable adjustments under its terms and that of the code of practice (visit https://adhdembrace.org/legal for more detail)
Val also spoke of new case law helping to define the implementation of some of the clauses.
Finally, she advised them ADHD Richmond would be writing to heads and governors offering a workshop session in the autumn.
