We are Hiring. Help shape the future of ADHD support and change lives.

Across the UK, awareness of ADHD has never been greater. Families are seeking answers, schools are working hard to better support neurodivergent learners, and professionals are increasingly recognising the importance of understanding the strengths and challenges that come with ADHD. Yet awareness alone isn’t enough. Real change happens when education, practical support and compassionate communities come together.

That’s exactly what ADHD Embrace has been doing for more than twenty years. Now we’re looking for an Operations Lead who wants to become part of that journey.

This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in small and impactful charity that believes every child and young person with ADHD deserves to be understood, supported and given every opportunity to thrive. If you’re someone who enjoys bringing ideas to life, is passionate about service delivery, has a practical, hands-on approach, thrives on collaboration and wants your work to have genuine purpose, this could be the role you’ve been waiting for.

The Role

The Operations Lead is responsible for the smooth and efficient operational delivery of ADHD Embrace’s services.  This includes leading the design, planning, implementation and evaluation of ADHD Embrace’s services, ensuring they are high-quality, responsive to community needs and aligned with funding commitments.

Our services include courses and workshops for both parents and young people, expert-led seminars, advice clinics, informal meet-ups and our Schools Outreach Programme, training teaching staff and providing ADHD awareness to parents in schools and delivering teacher seminars.

As Operations Lead you’ll combine strategic planning with practical hands on, day to day operations coordination and delivery, helping ensure ADHD Embrace’s growing programme of services runs smoothly and continues to evolve.

This includes;

Service Design & Planning

  • Planning future programmes through a clear service delivery roadmap that supports families and young people at different stages of their ADHD journey.
  • Identifying and collaborating with clinicians and expert service providers to deliver  our courses and seminars.

Service Delivery

  • Coordinating upcoming events and leading the day-to-day operational coordination of our services.
  • Overseeing the quality and timeliness of delivery by staff and external service providers.
  • Ensuring operational systems are efficient to support the smooth running of services. This includes troubleshooting and resolving short term issues as they arise and giving thought to long term solutions to ensure our services are delivered efficiently and seamlessly for our user community.

Insight, evaluation and impact

  • Gathering and reviewing feedback from families to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitoring service reach, beneficiary numbers and impact, using both quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Designing community surveys and consultation activity to inform future service development.

Funding reporting

  • Working with colleagues to ensure services meet funding commitments while measuring the impact of every programme or event delivered.

Working as part of a supportive team

You’ll work closely with the Executive Director while also being supported by an Operations Administrator, who will help with the smooth day-to-day running of services and events.

The role also collaborates closely with:

  • Leading external ADHD specialists and clinicians who lead our courses and workshops
  • Experienced teachers and education professionals
  • Parent advocates
  • Families navigating their ADHD journey
  • Young people with lived experience

Why apply?

You’ll gain unique insight into the latest thinking around ADHD while helping shape services that respond directly to what families and professionals need most with a role that’s connected to people, and meaningful outcomes.

The Operations Lead role is part-time at 24 hours per week, giving you the chance to enjoy meaningful, senior-level work with flexibility for the other parts of your life.

The position offers hybrid working alongside collaborative office time and attendance at events where needed.

We are offering a  pro rata salary of up to £35,000, up to 30 days holiday, including bank holidays, and a 3% employer pension contribution
