News Release – 1 March 2021
We are pleased to announce that we have appointed Dav Frank as our new Treasurer Trustee. Dav has had an extensive career within banking & financial services as COO, CFO and director and also experience in the voluntary sector having previously served as Treasurer Trustee of CVS Richmond.
Dav is taking over the Treasurer role from Iain Reid, a longstanding ADHD Richmond and Kingston volunteer and Trustee. Iain will continue to serve on the Board of Trustees. With Dav’s appointment the Board of Trustees is made up of six Trustees comprising: Annette Wilson, our Founder and Chair, Clare Mullane, our Secretary, Dav Frank, our Treasurer, Iain Reid, Tim Cooper and Miranda Lewis. All our Trustees have a close connection with ADHD and understand the importance of the providing a support community for parents and professionals working with children with ADHD.
Commenting on Dav’s appointment, Annette Wilson, our Chair and Founder said: “We are delighted to welcome Dav as his operational and finance experience will be invaluable to help us to get to the next stage as we build greater automation in our infrastructure to better support the growing demand on our offering. This final addition to our Board of Trustees gives us a well-rounded and strong Board, and together with our amazing volunteers, will enable us to take the charity to the next stage.
Dav commented on this appointment and said: “I am delighted to join the Board of Trustees as Treasurer. When I saw the opportunity I knew I could positively contribute in view of my business and voluntary sector experience and also have a connection to neuro-conditions as I have a son with ASD. I am passionate about how technology can assist organisations in enhancing their operations and efficiency and look forward to playing a part in the development of ADHD Richmond and Kingston.”
Annette Wilson also further commented on the search for the new Treasurer and said: “We recruited Dav through Charterpath, a new initiative to inspire more accountants into volunteering for non-profits. This is a welcome addition to the voluntary sector as there is always high demand for accountancy skills and a challenge to connect with the right people. We were delighted with the positive response we received to our role.“
