Teacher Seminar Online - Beyond the Buzzwords - Building a Living Culture of ADHD Inclusion June 2026 (XZ000208)

Andrea Jensen, SENCo and Paul Jensen, Headteacher

About this event

Join us for a discussion with two experienced educators on creating an ADHD-inclusive school, drawing on over two decades of experience in special education in both primary and secondary schools.  It is not about isolated interventions or one-off training, but is about current leadership in inclusion and building the everyday culture, systems and relationships that shape a child’s experience of school.

This session explores how schools can move beyond compliance and build sustainable, lived neuro-inclusive practice that supports both students and staff.

Session focus

  • Embedding ADHD-inclusive practice into staff induction and school culture from day one
  • Evaluating impact through lived experience, not just data
  • Strengthening peer support, wellbeing and whole-school connection
  • Identifying practical, quick wins alongside longer-term cultural change

Outcomes

  • A self-evaluation checklist for ADHD inclusion
  • A next-steps roadmap for auditing current provision
  • Practical strategies that can be implemented immediately
  • A clearer understanding of how inclusive practice benefits the whole school community

Approach

This session is grounded in practical leadership experience, evidence-informed practice and honest reflection on what works when standard approaches fall short. It is designed as a collaborative space for leaders to reflect, refine and strengthen their approach to inclusion.
