About this Event

When you think of ADHD, there is a good chance that you will associate it with being a disorder that impacts younger children. However, we know that there is a strong genetic link and many adults are now being diagnosed with ADHD following the diagnosis of their child. In the case of David, and like many of his clients, his own ADHD went undetected until a combination of factors led to a diagnosis. This completely re-framed his past. David is a BACP and NCS-registered counsellor and his openness about his diagnosis has seen him contacted by many people contacting him seeking ADHD Support. In this webinar David will talk about ADHD from an adult perspective, as well as his path to diagnosis. As we know navigating an ADHD referral or diagnosis for a child can be tricky enough, but this seems to be even more challenging for anyone over 18.
