Post-diagnosis sessions

“Absolutely invaluable for my son and myself post diagnosis. I felt supported and listened to when I made contact.”

Are you the parent of a recently diagnosed child or teenager? This workshop gives you the opportunity to develop an understanding of ADHD, it’s impact on the brain and to explore holistic approaches for managing the condition, both medical and non-medical. It is full of essential information to inform, help and empower you.

Having a child or young person with ADHD can be an isolating and challenging time so meeting with other parents/carers who are managing similar issues can be supportive and encouraging.

Our post-diagnosis workshop is led by our Family Support advisor Claire Burnell. Following your attendance at this workshop, you can also book a Advice Clinic Session (1:1 support) with Claire to discuss your specific situation and receive additional suggestions and signposting.

This session is free for or residents of Richmond & Kingston Boroughs. For participants outside of these areas, there is a fee of £50 for one parent and an additional £25 for a second parent.

If you have not registered with us previously, you will be asked to register before booking. If you have registered with us you will be asked to log in before booking for the event.
